NURSE ANESTHETISTS CONFERENCE

The First Pan African Nurse Anesthetist Conference hopes to bring together nurse anesthetists, anesthesia providers, policy makers, and representatives from international agencies, non-governmental organizations, pharmaceutical & equipment manufacturers, and donors to focus on strengthening quality life-saving anesthesia care for pregnant women. The three-day event hopes to put the spotlight on key issues including availability, accessibility, acceptability and quality of anesthesia care for the most vulnerable and under-served population.

REDUCING MATERNAL MORTALITY

Where are we now and what can we do better? This is the first question that comes in mind before we start addressing strategies on how to reduce maternal mortality.

The second track on Standard of care will be looking at Approaches and tools for improvement of quality and safety in maternal care. Establishing and adhering to the standards of care will be instrumental in achieving the goals of this conference.

STRENGTHENING HEALTH SYSTEMS

STRENGTHENING HEALTH SYSTEMS

This is the third track of the conference which will focus on Strengthening Health systems. The track will seek to address what is the role of anesthesia nurses and technicians in delivery of safe obstetric anesthesia and critical care.

How can I pay for the conference?

Payment can be made by direct deposit/bank transfer and/or mobile money. Payment details will be shared on email once you make your booking on our website. Click here to go to the booking page.

Yes. The conference fee can be paid at a standard exchange rate of USD 1=KES 140. 4 (Rate is subject to change based on dollar dynamics)

There will be morning and afternoon refreshment breaks as well as lunch will be provided for full-day sessions for all fully paid delegates.

In place of a visa, all foreign visitors need to apply for an eTA (electronic travel authorization that is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. An eTA does not determine whether a traveller is admissible to enter Kenya. Immigration officers will determine admissibility upon travelers’ arrival.

The PANAC 2024 administration team will provide an invitation letter, on request, to accompany your eTA application after full payment is received. We recommend that as soon as you register and pay the full registration fee, contact admin@panac.africa with your request. You will receive a PDF printable file sent via email.
